Photographed in Illinois Garden
Photo taken during the Summer in my Illinois garden. Pardon Me is one of the reddest Daylilies of all. Many reds actually run to the ancestral orange, but not this one. And it re-blooms, too! The flowers are about the same size as famous Stella D'Oro. Interestingly, Pardon Me is what is called a nocturnal Daylily which means the flowers for each day open the night before.
