Dogwood Canyon Nature Park new in 2016 , has a working mill and is built on Indian Creek, near the Missouri/Arkansas line. It is a 10,000 acre of pristine Ozark Mountain landscape, the park has miles of crystal-clear trout streams, dozens of cascading waterfalls, ancient burial caves, unique hand-built bridges and bottomless, blue-green pools. Acquired by Bass-Pro Shops' founder Johnny Morris in 1990. The park is owned and managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the canyon's natural land and wildlife environment. The Foundation promotes environmental conservation by maintaining the park and providing the public with an unspoiled setting for exploration. You'll also cross the Arkansas border where you may mingle with herds of bison, elk, whitetail deer and Texas longhorn.
